Am I Eligible?

NRAS rental properties are available for low and moderate income households - people who may find it hard to pay market rental rates. To be eligible to rent an NRAS property, potential tenants will need to provide Real Property WA with the following:

 written evidence of their gross income;

 a complete Department of Social Services NRAS Tenancy Demographic Assessment (TDA); and

 an application to enter into a residential tenancy agreement.

Please be aware that the gross income for your household for the previous 12 months must not exceed the income limits below:

The 2017-18 household income eligibility limits are:

2017/18 Year Household Income ($)
1st Adult 49,547
First Sole Parent 52,113
Each Additional Adult 18,954
Each Child 16,435
Independent Minor 49,547

*Please note that existing tenants must not exceed the income limit by more than 25 per cent over two consecutive years to remain eligible.

If you're thinking about becoming an NRAS Tenant with Questus Realty, then try Real Property WA's income calculator below to assess your eligibility. Please be aware that the calculator is only an indicator of your potential eligibility, and in no way assures acceptance or rejection as an NRAS tenant.
